Technical Associate, a division of US Nuclear Corp recognizes that in the U.S. about three-fourths of the fresh water used each year comes from rivers, lakes and reservoirs and one-fourth comes from groundwater aquifers. This surface water and ground water is at risk for contamination of radiation. Terrorist activity, improper water disposal, accidental dumping of contaminated water from accidents of trucks or trains in transit to disposal sites, and other incidents pose critical vulnerabilities.

Technical Associates has developed a suite of portable instruments for quick deployment when a potential hazard has been discovered. The ability to determine the extent of the contamination on site is an effective proactive way preventing potential damage to a water processing utility.
