- SSS-33-DHC-WH and SSS-33-DHC-4-WH utilize the WELL-HEAD (WH) SERIES procedure.
The WELL-HEAD (WH) SERIES procedure has the same function as the other models, with significantly higher sensitivity and reduced maintenance by the simple expedient of placing only the pump down the hole and bringing the detection cell, filtration, and amplifiers up to the surface where they can sit alongside the readout and data transmission package which was already on the surface at the WELL-HEAD. There are thousands of boreholes in the United States which could be or should be monitored for Tritium.
