The PRS-2 is a multi-purpose lightweight Scaler with 6AA batteries or optional rechargeable batteries.

• Includes a digital ratemeter operating mode presenting 6 full decades of accurate readout without switching.
• All 400-1200V GM and scintillation probes are compatible with the PRS-2 as are digital IonChamber and Gas Proportional probes with PA-1, PA-2, OR A502 amplifier
• The PRS-2 is a sturdy bench top or portable instrument incorporating both scaler and ratemeter function
• Gate time for the scaler is the free running mode.
• Readings directly in mR/hr or other units can be made by choosing the correct scaling factors for the scaler and the ratemeter.
