Low Background Gas Flow Alpha and Beta Counting System. Digital. Benchtop. This system produces high counting efficiencies for measuring extremely low levels of Alpha and Beta radioactivity with a detect-reject cosmic ray feature. Includes a sample detector and a guard detector. Ideal for applications in biological, physical, and chemical research or in environmental sampling for health physics and public health services. The instrument includes a sample tray holder that accepts 1'' SFM-PV-1 or 2” SFM-PV-2 samples. FM-9 Smart Electronics, computer interface.

Down Hole Tritium in Water Monitor. Portable. Digital. Continuous Real-Time. Measures at or below EPA/DHS PAG Levels. Protective Action Guideline. Five models:

SSS-33-DHC and SSS-33-DHC-4 each will deploy to 160 feet.
SSS-33-DHC utilizes a two-inch diameter well hole.
SSS-33-DHC- 4 utilizes a four-inch diameter well hole.
SSS-33-DH-XT utilizes a two-inch diameter well hole and will deploy 5,000 feet.
SSS-33-DHC-WH and SSS-33-DHC-4-WH utilize the WELL-HEAD (WH) Series procedure.

The WELL-HEAD (WH) Series procedure has the same function as the other models, with significantly higher sensitivity and reduced maintenance by the simple expedient of placing only the pump down the hole and bringing the detection cell, filtration, and amplifiers up to the surface where they can sit alongside the readout and data transmission package which was already on the surface at the WELL-HEAD. There are thousands of boreholes in the United States which could be or should be monitored for Tritium.
